Peach starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Peach in Maputo: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Peach is allowed to say
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The honest read on peach: 11 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long peach tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a peach starter kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested peach in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a peach bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where peach goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.14 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
How long does peach in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On peach the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.14 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
