Peach starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Peach in Maputo: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the peach habit
If you are looking at peach in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A peach starter kit from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT2.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long peach tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a peach starter kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested peach in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every peach bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where peach goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should peach start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On peach the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.03 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
