Passionfruit starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Passionfruit in Maputo: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Passionfruit in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: passionfruit in Maputo works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit starter kit really costs in Maputo
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested passionfruit in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for passionfruit in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT58 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.17 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.17 per 10 ml liquid plus MT58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
