Passionfruit starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Passionfruit in Maputo: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Passionfruit starter kit here
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on passionfruit: 16 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long passionfruit tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a passionfruit starter kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested passionfruit in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.38 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for passionfruit in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.38 per 10 ml liquid plus MT41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On passionfruit the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.38 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does passionfruit in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
