Nutty pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Nutty in Maputo: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the nutty habit
Nutty in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.33 per 10 ml.
The short version: nutty in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty pod kit really costs in Maputo
Nutty pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested nutty in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
