Nutty mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Nutty in Maputo: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the nutty habit
Nutty in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run nutty the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: nutty in Maputo works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty mesh tank really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at nutty in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested nutty in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT61 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.19 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
