Mintice zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Mintice in Maputo: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mintice habit
Mintice sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

The short version: mintice in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mintice zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.53 per 10 ml.
How we tested mintice in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing mintice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.53 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mintice in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mintice the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.53 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should mintice start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
