Mintice pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Mintice in Maputo: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.08 per 10 ml.
Mintice pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice pod kit really costs in Maputo
A mintice pod kit from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT2.08 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mintice in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing mintice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mintice in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
