Mintice pen device IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Mintice in Maputo: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mintice habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run mintice the same way in Maputo: same pen device, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: mintice in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mintice pen device really costs in Maputo
Mintice pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mintice in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.58 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mintice the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.58 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does mintice in a pen device last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
