Mintice cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Mintice in Maputo: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Mintice cartomizer here
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.14 per 10 ml.
The honest read on mintice: 13 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mintice cartomizer really costs in Maputo
We run mintice the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mintice in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mintice start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.14 per 10 ml liquid plus MT41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
