Mintice 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Mintice in Maputo: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mintice habit
The honest read on mintice: 10 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.3 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested mintice in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mintice in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mintice the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.3 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should mintice start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
