Mint zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Mint in Maputo: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a zero-nicotine bottle for mint
Mint in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: mint in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
Mint in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mint in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
