Mint vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.49 per 10 ml.
The honest read on mint: 19 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint vape pen really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested mint in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mint in a vape pen last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.49 per 10 ml liquid plus MT45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
