Mint sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
Mint in Maputo reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.53 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested mint in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.53 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.53 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
