Mint squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Mint in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on mint: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Mint squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mint in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does mint in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
