Mint refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you are looking at mint in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint refill pack really costs in Maputo
We run mint the same way in Maputo: same refill pack, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mint goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.03 per 10 ml.
