Mint refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run mint the same way in Maputo: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: mint in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint refill pack really costs in Maputo
Mint refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mint in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Maputo survives.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT32 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.5 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is mint legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.5 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
