Mint RDA IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A mint RDA from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT2.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Mint in Maputo reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint RDA really costs in Maputo
A mint RDA from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT2.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.48 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
