Mint prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with mint in Mozambique
Mint prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.59 per 10 ml.
The short version: mint in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
We run mint the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
