Mint cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.23 per 10 ml.
Mint in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: mint in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Mint cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mint in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT32 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.23 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.23 per 10 ml liquid plus MT32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does mint in a cartomizer last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
