Mint 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a 60 ml bottle for mint
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.09 per 10 ml.
The short version: mint in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
The honest read on mint: 12 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where mint goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for mint in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.09 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
