Mint 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.3 per 10 ml.
We run mint the same way in Maputo: same 10 ml bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: mint in Maputo works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested mint in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | MT34 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.3 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
How much does a 10 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.3 per 10 ml liquid plus MT34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
