Melon RDA IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Melon in Maputo: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at melon in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon RDA really costs in Maputo
Melon in Maputo reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested melon in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where melon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.14 per 10 ml.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?

How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.14 per 10 ml liquid plus MT59 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
