Melon pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Melon in Maputo: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.15 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon pod kit really costs in Maputo
A melon pod kit from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT3.15 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
