Melon in Maputo: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a pod kit for melon
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you are looking at melon in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: melon in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon pod kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested melon in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where melon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.51 per 10 ml.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for melon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.51 per 10 ml liquid plus MT63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.51 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
