Melon disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Melon in Maputo: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Melon disposable vape reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run melon the same way in Maputo: same disposable vape, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: melon in Maputo works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon disposable vape really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested melon in a disposable vape
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for disposable vape in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a disposable vape that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for melon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT42 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.14 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
