Melon 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Melon in Maputo: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
Melon 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on melon: 17 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: melon in Maputo works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
We run melon the same way in Maputo: same 30 ml shortfill, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested melon in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.24 per 10 ml.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for melon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT57 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.24 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.24 per 10 ml liquid plus MT57 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does melon in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
