Mango squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Mango in Maputo: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Mango sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: mango in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.62 per 10 ml.
How we tested mango in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mango goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mango in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does mango taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
Is mango legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
What nicotine strength should mango start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
