Mango pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Mango in Maputo: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a pod kit for mango
Mango pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.6 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango pod kit really costs in Maputo
A mango pod kit from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT1.6 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mango in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mango goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mango in Maputo survives.
- Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
