Home / Mango pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the mango habit

The honest read on mango: 20 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a mango pod kit really costs in Maputo

A mango pod kit from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

How we tested mango in a pod kit

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.

• The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into Mozambique.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
• Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.

Where mango goes wrong

• Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mango in Maputo survives.
• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

The rules that apply here

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
