Mango pen device IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Mango in Maputo: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a pen device for mango
A mango pen device from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT2.99 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at mango in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: mango in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango pen device really costs in Maputo
Mango pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mango in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where mango goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mango the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.99 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does mango in a pen device last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does mango taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
