Lime zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Lime in Maputo: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Lime is allowed to say
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.82 per 10 ml.
A lime zero-nicotine bottle from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT2.82 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested lime in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lime goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.82 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
