Lime vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Lime in Maputo: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
Lime sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

The short version: lime in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime vape pen really costs in Maputo
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.66 per 10 ml.
How we tested lime in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
