Lime sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Lime in Maputo: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What lime costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The honest read on lime: 7 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.98 per 10 ml.
How we tested lime in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where lime goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.98 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Maputo survives.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
Is lime legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
