Lime sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Lime in Maputo: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
Lime sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
We run lime the same way in Maputo: same sub-ohm kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lime in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.36 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lime in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

| Format | sub-ohm kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 9 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT50 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.36 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should lime start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.36 per 10 ml liquid plus MT50 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
