Lime starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Lime in Maputo: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
A lime starter kit from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT2.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Lime starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime starter kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested lime in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where lime goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lime the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.39 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
