Lime disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Lime in Maputo: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
The honest read on lime: 6 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: lime in Maputo works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime disposable vape really costs in Maputo
Lime in a disposable vape is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lime in a disposable vape
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Lime | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | disposable vape | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 6 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT64 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.8 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does lime in a disposable vape last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is lime legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
