Licorice starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Licorice in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.

The short version: licorice in Maputo works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in Maputo
Licorice in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.27 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.27 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does licorice in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
