Licorice starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a starter kit for licorice
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.36 per 10 ml.
Licorice starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in Maputo
Licorice in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.36 per 10 ml.
