Licorice squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.81 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice squonk mod really costs in Maputo
The honest read on licorice: 7 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.81 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.81 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does licorice in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
