Licorice in Maputo: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a refill pack for licorice
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

The short version: licorice in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice refill pack really costs in Maputo

How we tested licorice in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.39 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
