Licorice RDA IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What licorice costs in Maputo
A licorice RDA from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT1.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on licorice: 21 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice RDA really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested licorice in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.74 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for licorice in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
