Licorice pen device IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Licorice is allowed to say
If you are looking at licorice in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.92 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice pen device really costs in Maputo
The honest read on licorice: 22 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Maputo survives.
