What a lemon zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.35 per 10 ml.
How we tested lemon in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.35 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lemon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
