Lemon squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with lemon in Mozambique
We run lemon the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon squonk mod really costs in Maputo
A lemon squonk mod from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.19 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
