Lemon refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Lemon refill pack here
A lemon refill pack from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT1.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run lemon the same way in Maputo: same refill pack, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: lemon in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon refill pack really costs in Maputo
The honest read on lemon: 18 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.73 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lemon in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for lemon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
How long does lemon in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.73 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
