Lemon refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Lemon is allowed to say
A lemon refill pack from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.55 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lemon refill pack really costs in Maputo
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.55 per 10 ml.
How we tested lemon in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lemon in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.55 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
