Lemon refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a refill pack for lemon
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.38 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: lemon in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon refill pack really costs in Maputo
A lemon refill pack from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT3.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.38 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
