Lemon pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with lemon in Mozambique
We run lemon the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: lemon in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon pod kit really costs in Maputo
The honest read on lemon: 10 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
