Lemon cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Lemon is allowed to say
We run lemon the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lemon cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Lemon cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested lemon in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should lemon start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
